We do not do business with countries, companies or organizations… we always do business with people. DBw…P puts together personal experience with well established theories to help people communication specially (but not uniquely) in an European business environment.
When I first started living and working in a foreign country I realised that that my “normal” way of acting was provoking unusual-negative reactions in colleagues and customers. After a difficult learning curve that almost finishes with my professional career (twice) I started realising that effective communication with people of different cultures is especially challenging. Cultures provide people with different ways of thinking, seeing, hearing, and interpreting the world.
Cross cultural communication is not only necessary to have social skills, but also to improve the sensitivity and understanding for other values, views, ways of living and thinking, as well as being self-conscious in transferring one’s own values and views in a clear, but appropriate way.
Experience working with in an international environment, living in different countries and extensive languages skills gives me a privileged position to help understanding people from different nationalities and achieving goals.
